I made a good amount of money this year which pushed me into the next tax bracket. I went on turbo tax (which I used last year) and completed but did not submit 2016 in minutes, the refund was okay. I don't have a lot of options for tax deductions; single, didn't buy property or spend my own cash on work expenses. I did file my student loan interest as a deduction which was simple...I still feel as though I paid A LOT in taxes.
My question is more or less...In a situation as simple as mine, Can a tax expert get me a better (but still legal) refund vs turbo tax? Is it worth it or should I just accept my Turbo Tax refund?
