Last month my bill was $114.63, for an apartment with 3 people. This month it is $231.50, which is absurd. And it's not some weird service charge, my usage in therms literally doubled. How could this be?
I suppose it could be bad insulation somewhere, but its been cold for months, and this just happened. I suppose it could be a broken meter or appliance, but in that case, is there a way to find out for cheap?
