It seems like with Trump retreating the US to some extent from the global stage, and instead focusing on US growth from within, this could stand to benefit American-centric companies more than globalised MNCs. Seeing that small/mid cap companies are more US focused than the large cap firms, would this be a sufficient reason to believe or expect these small/mid cap companies to outperform their large cap counterparts for the year?
Or is this a flawed reasoning?
Would to hear your thoughts on this subject matter.
