I have a few different retirement savings options going for me already: -Army Reserves pension plan -Thrift Savings Plan through the Army (auxiliary individual savings) -MN State Pension Plan

I'm moving states and taking a state job when I move so I will lose my MN pension and start fresh. I'm only 24 so that's not too concerning but I would like to start an IRA to augment my already pretty good retirement portfolio.

With that information, would a conventional or Roth IRA be best to use as an auxiliary retirement plan. I understand the core difference but I'm unsure which would work best for me. Some advice would be appreciated and actually taken to heart.
