If you have lost your job and can't make your Discover "It" card payment. They will straight up give you a $100 check to help you with whatever you need.

They will also modify the payment date so that it'll be later but not reported as a "late payment"

I called them after I lost my job a while back and was blown away by how helpful they were. Please don't try to abuse this by trying to get a free $100. This is for those who genuinely need it.
