I'm a student and for the past few years I have been pretty care free with my spending. This is due to the fact that I've had money left to me by a family member and I also worked for a year before I went to university. This has fooled me into thinking that I don't need to worry about money, as I've always had a lot sitting in my account. Well basically the time has come where the money is drying up.

A few things about my money and spending:

•I'm very lucky due to the fact my parents pay for accommodation

•I'm a Scottish student so have no tuition fees to pay (university is basically free)

•Therefore, my only expenses and living costs and bills

•I'm trying to avoid taking out a student loan for as long as possible

•Due to limited time, I usually eat lunch on campus, this can become quite costly over a semester

•I go out to clubs and usually spend £30 ($37) each time I do so

My aim is to spend £60 ($74) a week up until June, when term ends. This should leave me roughly £1500 ($1840) in my bank. I do not need to worry about money as much when I return home for summer, as I have a job. I was thinking of taking the £60 out in cash at the start of the week, to avoid temptation to use my card.

What are some frugal tips to cut down on costs and expenses, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance r/frugal! :)
