Hopefully this isn't in the wrong sub, but when I recieve these offers at the bottom it says to go to a credit website to stop receiving them. This allows you to stop your info from being given out for 5 years (have to actually mail them to stop permanently). However, this same site has a little disclaimer saying if the company already has the information they can't stop them from sending offers. Citi and Bank of America are the 2 I'm concerned with. I don't actually have an account with them so not sure how calling them will help. Any ideas?
