I have most of my net worth tied up in shares of my employer. The stock is publicly traded but not very liquid. I do not want to sell any of my shares because of capital gains taxes and because I expect the stock to continue doing well in the future unless there is a recession. How do I go about mitigating my risks? The company is in a cyclical industry (consulting for building construction and infrastructure) so my worst case scenario is having my net worth halved and losing my job at the same time.

There are no options traded for the company, so that will not work. The company is headquartered in Sweden.
