Deal alert for frugal gents in and around Dekalb County Illinois. The Huntley Outlet mall is closing permanently. What few stores remain (Guess, Banana Republic Factory, Bass) are running some pretty nice sales to clear inventory. Bass is by far the best. Everything in the store is 80% off the original price. This brings their suede bucks down to ~$25. Mallard boots (Bean boot clones) are ~$30. Weejuns ~$27.
The store is still shockingly well stocked. Most sizes in everything are available. I picked up a pair of Mallards, two sweaters, three shirts, two canvas bags, and 8 pairs of socks for only $160 total. It's definitely worth the trip if you live nearby. Bass isn't the best quality, but these prices are practically robbery.
