Has anyone tried out the 'standing desk' converters that seem to be getting more popular? These things are supposed to turn your normal sitting desk into a standing desk. Some of them seem a bit pricey and some are almost as much as the standing desk I have been looking at(Ikea Skarsta, $220), so I'm just wondering what the deal is on these things.
Gimmick or very frugal solution?
(note, i've tried making my own desk 'stand up' and it was a failure)
(some of the converters I've been looking at are the ReadyDesk and Oristand. Surprisingly, there is just not many reviews on YouTube or on Reddit so I'm guessing most people who want to stand up end up going with full blown sit-stand desks!)
