I have about $1200 to invest. Ideally id like to have it sit and grow some im assuming to go with an ETF like VTI or VOO? Is 1200 even enough to do anything with? Also, would it be worth my while to invest maybe 800-1000 in an ETF and then have 200-400 to just mess around with and do as i please to learn more about how everything works?
