I've been trying to find airfare for a trip for my family and myself to Rome from Newark this coming summer. My parents went ahead and booked tickets without letting me know, so now my girlfriend and I are attempting to get on their same flight to simplify logistics. Unfortunately, the tickets which they paid $1,200 for are now up to $2,600 according to Google Flights.
I got some responses on my original post, one of which came from a guy who posted saying he got a good price on CitiAirTravel.com. I looked on their site, and I see the flight I'm looking for at $900 instead of $2,600.
I search them out a bit and found similar sites, others part of the "ITN Network" which is purportedly a discount travel site network. One claimed to have flights on that route for that day for $450.
Does anyone have any familiarity with sites like these or these sites in particular? What kind of catch should I look for if I start considering them?
