I'm a complete computer shopping noob and I was at Best Buy- and loved those Chromebook prices! I'm looking for a cheap laptop that isn't going to kill my wallet (I'd prefer the computer to be almost expendable because I'm moving to the inner city and I'm going to be living in a guesthouse that isn't super secure- I have a good hiding place for it but still...)
The thing is I'm a little worried about compatibility. I'm thinking of starting some kind of side hustle (probably something like blogging/a website and some coaching/consulting via Skype related to an industry I left.)
Is there something I should look at instead of Chromebook if I'm:
- Building a blog for a business
- Need to convert files to Word/open PDFs
- Keep my old I-Tunes library (I'm switching to MP3 players in the future but yes, I have an old iPod from like 2007 that still works.)
- Skype
