Quick facts:
- interning as a hybrid web designer/developer
- small company
- industry average for entry level developer is 60k (but remember I do design as well) -- I'm currently making about 2k a month as an intern
- apparently I've been doing so well, boss has decided he wants to hire me when I've barely finished a third of the internship (and yeah, I like the company and the people I work with, also love the job itself)
- I don't know how much to ask for salary-wise. But I'm thinking I should ask for at least 4k a month which is ~50k/yr.... can't tell if it's too little or too much but it would definitely be double the intern wage. And isn't the industry average more aligned with big companies?
- I do not have other offers so can't really use that as leverage
Any tips?
