I'm curious to hear if anyone has alternative living arrangements than simply renting or owning a home. Accommodation is not cheap in the city I'm from, even house share is $600-800 a month at the lower end of the spectrum. However, there are programs where you can provide companionship to an elderly person 10 hours a week and live rent-free. Anyone done something similar?
