I picked up some vintage frames from the Goodwill today for $5, but they had someone else's bifocal prescription in them.
I shopped around and Lens Crafters wanted $300 for single vision lenses, Costco wanted $280 + $$ to bring my own frames, and Walmart wanted $169. I don't have insurance either.
I came across 39dollarglasses.com and they charged me $44.95 for lenses (I use my glasses for distance). Used my old prescription (2014) from my Warby Parker account from my current pair of glasses. I only had to pay an extra $6.45 to send them the frames.
