I started a basement renovation two years ago. Due to money constraints, I have done most of the work myself (aside from carpet, plumbing, and stairs).I started from zero experience, and now consider myself quite a handyman. It's not lost on me that a complete newbie to construction managed to nearly finish a 950sqft space with above-average workmanship, and I'm proud of that. However, I have been feeling very apathetic toward finishing the project since we moved in furniture and made it livable. There's some trimwork and paint touchups to do, and I need to finish the bathroom, but no matter how hard I try to push myself to finish, I end up just puttering around down there and get little done (maybe put in an hour or two).Does anyone have some words of advice or strategies to get a DIY project back to life? I could really use some support as my wife is getting frustrated with me. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2ioFNDS
