Hi all,

A few years back I joined a new company going from bar work to engineering as a junior. Doing this dropped me from approx 32k a year to about 15.. I had some 'planned debt' as I knew that I wouldn't be able to afford my bills etc.. fuel cost went from £30 a month to £250 etc.. so things actually got more expensive whilst I was making half the amount.

Fast forward a few years and the planned debt has spun out of control. I have 8.5k on a loan (trying to consolidate), 7.1k on a credit card (my life line as it paid for my food and fuel every week!!) and maybe 1k on a catalogue/store card.

Along with that I pay monthly for my car on Pcp. I pay monthly for my insurance and I pay monthly for my car tax. This alltogether costs me around 400ish!

I have no idea what to do, my wage is now only £17k p/y.. I have no way of making more money anywhere unless I just sell my self lol!

My outgoings as following:

Car: 400 approx (insurance too expensive..) Fuel: 200 Rent: 200 Loan: 250~ Credit card: 165~ Catalogue: 70. Phone: 40 Phone insurance:6 Gym:20 Other financed items:130

This totals just way more then I could ever dream of earning. I'm stuck as I've spent 3 years trying to pay debt off by getting into more debt. I thought engineering would be quite lucrative but in reality it's a sham and has quite literally ruined my life to the point I want to commit suicide.

Is there anything I can do other than just not pay stuff or quitting my job?!
