Hey all, I've got a slight roof leak in a covered patio area that is attached to the house. There is a flat metal flashing maybe 8" that runs the length of the patio (16'). Upon inspection I see that the flashing wasn't secured to the patio roof it just rests on it so water pools underneath and works it's way through the roof into the patio area.Can I use sheet metal screws to secure it to the roof and then use caulking/sealant to weatherproof it?
